These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CorralData platform, website, and associated services (the “Service”), including our free plan. By signing up for or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service.

1. Free Plan Usage

CorralData offers a free plan to provide limited access to the platform. The free plan includes:

  • 1 user seat: Only one user account is allowed. Sharing accounts is strictly prohibited.
  • 1 standard integration: Access is limited to one data source integration.
  • 100,000 rows of data processed per month.
  • 100 AI/ML requests per month: For automated insights and reporting.

CorralData reserves the right to modify or discontinue the free plan at its sole discretion with prior notice.

Additional Terms for Paid Customers
For users upgrading to a paid plan, your subscription will be governed by a separate agreement, which includes additional terms and conditions related to service levels, payment obligations, and other provisions specific to paid subscriptions. If you choose to upgrade, you will be required to review and accept these terms as part of the subscription process.

2. License and Restrictions

CorralData grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the free plan for internal business purposes. You agree not to:

  • Share or sublicense your account.
  • Use the Service for purposes other than internal business operations.
  • Exceed the limits of the free plan, including rows of data processed or AI/ML requests.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify any part of the platform.
  • Use the Service for competitive analysis, benchmarking, or any purpose intended to develop competing products or services.
  • Create screenshots, recordings, or documentation of the platform’s functionality without prior written permission.
  • Misrepresent your company size, industry, or intentions for using the Service.

Industry Restrictions
The free plan is not available to companies operating in the data analytics, business intelligence, or AI-powered data processing industries. CorralData reserves the right to terminate accounts of users determined to be operating in these or similar competitive industries without notice.

3. Account Activity and Termination

CorralData may terminate free plan accounts for:

  • Inactivity: If your account remains inactive for 14 days or more.
  • Violation of Terms: Breach of any usage limitations or restrictions.
  • Platform Changes: Discontinuation of the free plan.
  • Competitive Usage: Users found to be affiliated with direct competitors will have their accounts terminated immediately without notice.
  • Suspicious Activity: Usage patterns consistent with competitive intelligence gathering or other prohibited uses.
  • Misrepresentation: Providing false information about your company, industry, or intended use of the Service.

Upon termination:

  • Access to the platform and data will be revoked.
  • You will have 14 days to upgrade to a paid plan and recover your data before permanent deletion.
  • For terminations due to Terms violations, CorralData reserves the right to immediately delete all user data with no opportunity for recovery.

4. Data Ownership, Privacy, and Confidentiality

  • Your Data: You retain ownership of the data uploaded to the platform.
  • Usage of Data: CorralData may anonymize and aggregate data for product improvement and insights.
  • Privacy Policy: Use of the platform is governed by CorralData’s Privacy Policy at https://corraldata.com/privacy/.
  • Confidentiality: By using the Service, you agree to treat all aspects of the platform’s functionality, performance characteristics, and operational methods as confidential information.
  • Data Monitoring: CorralData actively monitors usage patterns and reserves the right to terminate accounts showing suspicious activity without prior notice.

5. Service Modifications and Availability

CorralData strives to ensure reliable access to the platform but does not guarantee uptime or performance for free plan users.
The Service may be modified, updated, or discontinued without liability, and free plan features are subject to change.

Right to Refuse Service
CorralData maintains the absolute right to refuse service to any individual, organization, or entity at our sole discretion with no requirement to provide justification.

6. Intellectual Property

All methodologies, algorithms, workflows, and proprietary techniques remain the exclusive property of CorralData. Screenshots, recordings, or documentation of the platform’s functionality are strictly prohibited without prior written permission and constitute intellectual property theft.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The free plan is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. CorralData makes no warranties, including:

  • Fitness for a particular purpose.
  • Merchantability.
  • Non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CorralData’s liability is limited to direct damages up to a maximum of $50. CorralData is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the free plan.

9. Governing Law and Legal Remedies

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be resolved in New York County courts.

Legal Remedies
Violations of these Terms may result in legal action seeking injunctive relief and damages, including recovery of lost profits and attorney’s fees. Users agree to jurisdiction in New York courts and accept responsibility for all legal costs incurred by CorralData in enforcing these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

CorralData reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via the website or email, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
